Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented application developer to join our team in the Washington, DC location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Looking for a database developer to work closely with Technical Leads, Developers, and Quality Assurance Analysts. The candidate must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of SQL Server, data management, ETL, performance tuning, and/or big data and Hadoop. Knowledge of Agile is highly desirable.  The successful candidate is self-motivated, has strong analytical skills, possesses the ability to learn quickly and can handle multiple projects simultaneously. The educational requirement is Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server / T-SQL  

  • Experience with ETL (from .csv, Excel, PDF, html, etc.)

  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or Informatica

  • Extensive experience developing C# 

  • Experience with Python

  • Experience with Website data scraping

  • Experience with data modelling

  • Experience with Team Foundation Server and/or Git

  • Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Performance tuning experience is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization is a plus (Microsoft Power BI or Tableau)
  • Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodology is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
