Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Inspector to support DOD construction projects at the Tyndall AFB, Panama City, FL.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide support on various civil construction projects that may include new construction, building renovations, airfields, and civil works;
Produce reports to clearly and concisely document inspection findings;
Required frequent and recurring construction inspections, which includes walking, climbing, stooping and bending at various elevations and uneven terrain.

DCSA—Program and Project Management

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or AA/AS (US) + 10 YORE or Diploma/Certificate (Canada) +12 YORE or HS/GED + 14 YORE; all including a minimum of 2 years of leadership
10+ years of experience on mid to large scale DOD projects, USACE projects are preferred;
Experience with the USACE 3 phase quality process is an asset – USACE CQMC certification preferred;
Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications and applying them to ensure that contractor QC programs are in place and meeting project requirements;
Knowledge of safety regulations is required (OSHA 30 and knowledge of EM385-1-1 is preferred).
Experience on projects in Florida or the surrounding region is an asset;
Experience USACE Resident Management System (RMS);
Must be a US Citizen, this position requires the successful applicant to be a U.S. Citizen;
Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.
Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work and walk in indoor/construction site environments with uneven terrain, variable conditions including dusts and noise. The overall physical demands of this position are moderate. Position requires often (25-50% of workday) performing keyboard/mouse operations; occasionally (10-25% of workday) standing/walking, operating vehicles, climbing stairs, and using portable ladders; rarely (less than 10% of workday) working with arms above shoulder level, performing repetitive bending/stooping, power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), working at heights, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, performing repetitive or fine hand movements, and lifting less than 25 - 50 pounds; Position will include wearing associated personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, hearing protection, and fall protection.
