Job Summary

AECOM is seeking for an experienced Project Scheduler to support DOD construction projects at the Tyndall AFB, Panama City, FL.

The scheduler is anticipated to provide scheduling support on a variety of current and upcoming projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with USACE staff, planners, architects and engineers, base personnel, and other stakeholders to perform as built schedule analysis of the project’s progress from NTP to final acceptance;

Assess the reasonableness of the proposed schedule durations, cost loading, activity coding and work breakdown structure;

participate in all monthly schedule review meetings;

schedule filtering, sorting, producing and analyzing project schedule reports utilizing the latest version of Primavera P6;

Perform schedule impact analysis for modifications;

Produce schedule fragnets for inclusion in change order documentation; Perform analysis on current and future workload and provide manpower resourcing reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • 6+ years of experience on mid to large scale DOD projects

  • Experience on projects in Florida or the surrounding region is an asset;

  • Experience USACE Resident Management System (RMS);

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required, proficiency in MS Project is an asset;

  • Proficient in the theories, principles, and industry best practices of scheduling and cost engineering;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;

  • The ability to coordinate and communicate effectively within a high performing, cohesive team environment where projects and clients are geographically dispersed;

  • AACE and / or other professional certifications is an asset;

  • Must be a US Citizen, this position requires the successful applicant to be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policy.

Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work and walk in indoor/construction site environments with uneven terrain, variable conditions including dusts and noise. The overall physical demands of this position are moderate. Position requires often (25-50% of workday) performing keyboard/mouse operations; occasionally (10-25% of workday) standing/walking, operating vehicles, climbing stairs, and using portable ladders; rarely (less than 10% of workday) working with arms above shoulder level, performing repetitive bending/stooping, power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), working at heights, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, performing repetitive or fine hand movements, and lifting less than 25 - 50 pounds; Position will include wearing associated personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, hearing protection, and fall protection.
