Drive an agile, analytically driven approach to identifying and defining business opportunities for growth; develops learning plan, executes, analyzes and communicates learning related to CAG brands’ present and future position in the marketplace.
Work closely with the broader Demand Science team and third-party vendors to continually improve and refine existing forecast methodology; often looking for ways to incorporate new data sets to drive more accurate results.
Analyzes and interprets historical syndicated data, industry and consumer behavior to build a deeper understanding of performance drivers.
Effectively engages and builds strong collaborative relationships with Brand, Planning and Finance teams. Succinctly explains improvements made to existing systems and communicates resulting variations, as well as answers questions and collects feedback for continued process improvement.
Develops tools and reports to drive further compliance and adoption of new processes across the organization.
Drive application of a comprehensive range of research methodologies and suppliers, continuous improvement in techniques and cost.
3+ years of experience producing high quality, well-regarded insights, impactful recommendations & analytics work, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods industry.
Intellectually curious, mentally agile, and openly collaborative.
Ability to build strong business relationships to achieve sustainable partnerships and collaboration internally and externally.
Strong priority management skills with experience in an agile environment.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively influence the achievement of business objectives in a matrix organization without direct authority.
Experience with Point of Sale (IRI, Nielsen, etc.) data preferred.
Coding experience (Python, etc.) preferred but not required.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
