About DCSA—Program and Project Management
As an industry leader in program and construction management, we partner with clients to support projects from concept to completion. Possess project specific knowledge of the program’s commissioning requirements as defined in the project specifications and commissioning plan.
Must have a thorough understanding of the responsibilities to both the Company and the client as set forth by the contractual agreement
Maintains financial awareness of labor and other direct costs associated with the project.
Performs commissioning reviews of construction documents
Attend and actively participate project coordination meetings throughout all phases.
Lead field commissioning coordination meetings.
Record and distribute commissioning coordination meeting minutes.
Review Shop Drawings and Equipment Submittals
Develop Pre-functional Construction Checklists
Develop Functional Test Procedures
Perform Construction/Installation Observations
Witness and evaluate quality control testing including DALT.
Evaluate equipment and building control/SCADA system installations with respect to contract documents and industry standards
Evaluate equipment and building control system installations with respect to the construction schedule
Provide detailed daily construction observation reports or as required when working on a project location.
Assist in the Training of Facility Operators on Building Systems
Witness Startup Procedures
Witness/Backcheck NETA Electrical Acceptance Test Results
Perform Functional Test Procedures
Assist in Troubleshooting
Position requires 50% construction site presence.
25% Overnight Travel may be required.
Overseas travel may be required.
Must have US Passport or capable of obtaining passport.
Must be capable of obtaining national security clearance.
Under general supervision, performs routine duties.
Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.
Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.
Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.
Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.
May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.
