Information Security Intern
This unique opportunity is open to juniors, seniors, and graduate students pursuing a career in Information Security . This year-round, part-time opportunity will provide the applicant entry-level information security experience with progressing responsibility and experience. The work, in information assurance, system compliance, continuous data monitoring, or maintaining/enhancing overall Center security posture, will be hands-on support of the various missions of the EROS (Earth Resources Observation and Science) Center (http://eros.usgs.gov/), located near Sioux Falls, South Dakota . The purpose of this position is designed so that the student will have the opportunity to apply principles and theories learned in the classroom, gain new skills, explore a career path and be supervised and mentored by a professional in their field. This position holds potential to grow into full-time employment upon graduation, pending project funding.
