SAIC is seeking Intelligence Analysts to support challenging operational requirements for an Intelligence Community customer in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The Intel Analyst will support a wide range of operational and programmatic activities to manage a geographic or transnational issue; manage and track cases; draft, coordinate, and/or monitor intelligence reports and production; provide timely guidance, including identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies; conduct research and analysis using customer tools and databases; and demonstrate knowledge and/or proficiency in a geographical area or substantive issue. Intelligence Analysts require initiative, creativity, technical excellence, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. They are expected to develop and maintain broad professional networks across the Intelligence Community and government.  Ideal candidates are inquisitive, investigative and action-oriented with the ability to take initiative and deliver solutions. Successful candidates are self-starters who can multi-task and remain calm under pressure with the ability to work independently and in a group. They must be able to deal effectively, comfortably, and confidently with customer managers at all levels of responsibility.


  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of prior experience in supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives. A Bachelor’s Degree can be substituted with 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong research and writing ability
  • Strong briefing skills as well as the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision
  • Regional and/or functional expertise in a geographic region of interest
