Position Summary:The Solutions Architect – MuleSoft’s primary role is to transform business functional requirements into technical solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The Architect will guide business and IT stakeholders in strategic planning to realize impactful business outcomes leveraging MuleSoft’s CloudHub, Anypoint Studio and other components within the Anypoint Platform. The Architect is expected to perform analysis, design, development, and implementation of process and technology for new or existing integrations following MuleSoft’s API-led methodology. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Analysis, design, development, and implementation of new and/or existing integrations to various business applications within the architecture. Development will include interface and integration work in Anypoint Studio and deploying to RBG’s MuleSoft CloudHub tenant.Develop enhancements and support key integrations to business applications including VIP (Route Accounting & Settlement, Voice Pick, Routing & Dispatch, and Pre-Sell software). Lead project teams where applicable with ability to collaborate and coordinate within all areas of IT and the business. Provide MuleSoft technical expertise when evaluating and designing solutions ensuring all components and subsystems impacted are properly addressed during business application build and deployment. Accountable for assessing technology trends, guiding solution designs and in moving IT strategies forward within the Integration/API domain.Act as a liaison to IT and business to improve both IT and business processes to reduce costs or enhance services where applicable. Stay abreast of technology and vendor trends and communicate relevant concepts and implications to the business and IT. Oversee and provide technical analysis and design expertise during development of Integrations/APIs. Ability to effectively work with business users to ensure technical solution meets business requirements. Provide technical leadership to the solution delivery process with solution architectures to drive key architecture decisions and ensure enterprise fit and sustainability. Develop, maintain, and enforce common conventions, standards, on Anypoint Platform across the IT Team. Lead the design of Integration/API solutions needed to enable the business. Other projects or duties as assigned.Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.7+ years’ experience in Solutions or Systems Architecture.3+ years’ experience in an Architect role on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (4.x) performing the following activities:Define MuleSoft Architecture and lead setup of Business Groups, CloudHub/on-prem environments, including VPC design, VPN configurations, DLB setup, roles/user access, Single Sign-on, etc.Lead API design, RAML specifications and strong understanding of full API-lifecycle, and leveraging MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform to serve the lifecycleLead API Security Design and Implementation including OAuthLead Integration/API Implementation Design using various connectors, especially Salesforce connector (streaming APIs), Database connector, .NET connectorAbility to decide on which deployment model is applicableProvide design for CI/CD pipelines and branching strategy for MuleSoft API Deployment within an Agile SDLCDemonstrate understanding of Integration/API options for various SaaS applications (Salesforce, Snowflake, etc.) and on-prem applications (Databases, custom .NET/JAVA)Design Enterprise/Common Data Models across various industries, and understanding of Data warehouses, and Enterprise systemsCertified as MuleSoft Integration Architect OR MuleSoft Platform Architect.Strong knowledge of Performance Engineering, specifically in tuning/optimizing MuleSoft APIs within Anypoint Studio.Strong knowledge of log aggregation/monitoring abilities of MuleSoft’s Monitoring solution.Proficient in designing Enterprise grade Integration solutions deploying APIs that are fault-tolerant, resilient and highly available.Experience leading story grooming sessions, story estimates, define acceptance criteria for all MuleSoft tagged stories.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong understanding of information systems and business processes. Self-motivated individual with possession of strong leadership skills and presence.Strong analytical skills with system design and implementation experience. Knowledge of technology trends with ability to effectively communicate value to organization and influence decision makers. Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills.Demonstrated interpersonal, teamwork and relationship building skills in order to work effectively and contribute to a team environment. Excellent ability to manage competing demands, changes or delays.Ability to travel up to15% of the time.This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test. Preferred Skills and Experience:Experience with mobile technology.Experience in the beverage industry.Experience with common programming languages. SQL, RPG, ETL tools, .NET.Formal project management training and experience a plus Able to interact with senior personnel both with in IT and other departments.
