ManTech is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Systems/Network Engineer, Sr. Principal to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and configures tests, scenario-based labs and exercises that are in line with course delivery and instruction needs.
  • Strong familiarity with VMware environments (virtualization) and products.
  • Configures and develops environments by employing software and hardware.
  • Collaborates with others to research and leverage partner tools, systems and procedures.
  • Proactively responds to issues and maintains a sense of ownership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (5 years of relevant experience in lieu of college education)
  • 8 or more years of experience in network administration, engineering, information systems, systems development or administration.
  • Hands-on experience in computer networking and system administration.
  • Ability to build partnerships to advance network needs, enhance core training, develop pre-requisite and continuing education training.
  • Experience and reputation for learning new ideas, applying knowledge to develop new tools.
  • Have a self-starting attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and in isolation from time-to-time.

Highly Desired Experience:

  • Prior experience with client systems and requirements.

Security Requirement:

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI and Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to frequently communicate with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
