Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Chief Information Officer (CIO) that specializes in customer infrastructure solutions, including Data Centers, Data Analytics, premise and Cloud based storage and computing capabilities, and enterprise-wide infrastructure support. Position will be based in Austin, TX. Initial start of work will be performed virtually (all work will be virtual during the current COVID-19 pandemic, and until restrictions by Mantech HR and customer are lifted in accordance with CDC and state guidelines the selected employee for this position will not be required to report on-site)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to the Program Manager and the Program Management Office

  • Provide support on current operations and future requirements for government infrastructure operations

  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to include but not limited to, on-the-fly onsite data integration and scripting

  • Monitor open source channels (e.g., vendor sites, Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs), SysAdmin, Audit, Network, Security (SANS) Institute) to maintain a current understanding of Infrastructure Operations and Support services.

  • Provide systems architecture services support.

  • Provide information technology asset management support.

  • Provide technical infrastructure services support.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent field of study mandatory.

  • 12+ years of related professional experience is required.

  • Use leading edge technology and industry standard tools and procedures to provide insight into current and future data center operations, capabilities and processes

  • Produce written reports documenting technology findings

  • Review and provide documentation on future capabilities to meet current and evolving data center operation needs

  • Identify and document case relevant system

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, and with a minimum 1 year of Data Center infrastructure support

  • 8+ years of related professional experience in IT Management; prior CIO or prior Chief Technology Officer (CTO) experience strongly preferred.

  • System Architecture experience

  • Hands on experience with data center activities to include, but not limited to, physical and logical systems to collect data on installed IT services, systems, and equipment, analysis and assessment of collected information.

  • Ability to work with customer to gather requirements, determine needs, and make recommendations for project tasks and schedule.

  • Organizational skills

  • Communication skills

  • Risk Management

  • Portfolio Management Experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.
