This position is responsible for the accurate and timely documentation of inbound materials, monitoring inventory control of materials; and working with various levels of the organization for resolution of customer and /or deployment concerns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Inventory Control – Verify production, correct issues, and communicate discrepancies. Facilitate raw, packaging, and finished good inventory reconciliation.
Receiving – Manage the receiving process from start to finish for all LTL, raw, and packaging materials.
Data Entry and Record Keeping -- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and filed in a timely manner; Maintain inventory metrics reports.
Problem Resolution -- Assist Material Planners, Corporate Customer Service, Procurement, and Transportation, in the communication and correction of issues with anything surrounding the receipt or shipment of materials
Customer and Warehouse Delivery – Function as back-up Distribution / Warehouse contact for Corporate Customer Service, answering inquiries and responding to requests concerning customer orders.
Participate in product recall / trace events.
Coordinate product donation pickups.
Insure FEFO is being adhered to in the warehouse.
Back up for shipping and receiving office duties
Notify Supply Chain Manager or Team Leader of any equipment, material, food safety, or quality issues.
Reconcile Chep inventory on a weekly basis.
Create and maintain time-sheets for warehouse temporary employees.
Complete special projects, duties and assignments, as appropriate.

High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
Associates Degree, preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of related warehousing or inventory management experience, or equivalent administrative experience, required.
Experience working with a diverse group of people.
Solid data entry skills.
General understanding of Accounting principals or procedures.
Thorough understanding of Inventory procedures, systems, and techniques
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Familiarity with financial management and reporting systems, such as SAP.
Solid organizational skills.
Possesses good judgment and an ability to analyze data and information in order to make effective and timely decisions.
Ability to seek innovative approaches to resolving problems.
Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization.
Solid problem solving, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
Detail oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Ability to adapt well to change and accept new projects, assignments, etc., as needed.
