SAIC is currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in the Panama City Beach, Florida area.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develops and implements changes to C++ navigation and
display software with Windows 10 Operating System for LCAC vehicles.
Integrates new peripherals with ethernet, USB
and MIL-STD-1553 interface
Some work
may require experience with Ethernet, USB and RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial
controllers
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in related field and minimum of two (2) years experience. Six (6) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years software experience in C/C++ development
environment.
Experience with serial interfaces including
RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial controllers.
Experience integrating peripherals with ethernet,
USB and/or MIL-STD-1553 interfaces.
Experience with analog to digital and digital to
analog signal processing and control software
Experience implementing software changes for
Windows 10 for Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments (IAVA).
Experience with navigation and charting software
and integrating navigation software, navigation chart loading and ethernet
based radar services
Experience working in an agile software
development environment
CLEARANCE:

position will require an active DoD Secret clearance, background
