Job Summary

Shimmick Construction, an AECOM Company, is seeking an ES&H Intern for our location in Chattanooga, TN.

  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited 4 year college or university and seeking a Bachelor’s/Master's degree majoring in Safety, Environment, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry or an applied science field.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • ?Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and MS Excel with ability to understand Excel worksheets
