Title:

Systems Integrator - Test Engineer

Be a part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team supporting rapid and innovative prototype development of warfighting capabilities that increase lethality, survivability, and warfighter effectiveness. As a member of the team you will integrate with cross-functional teams to conduct research, design, development, prototyping, systems engineering, integration, testing and evaluation, transitioning, and training across multiple technology areas to include: Geolocation and Tagging, Tracking, Locating; Sensor, Data Fusion, and Dissemination; Unconventional / Asymmetric Warfare / Support to Special Operations; Situational Awareness; Cyberspace and Spectrum Warfare Operations; Air Superiority; Command, Control and Spectrum Utilization; Real-Time/Near Real Time Large Data Analytics and Virtualization. Projects in the portfolio will range in quantity, scope, duration, and complexity. Projects are designed to transition to warfighters and/or national intelligence agencies for operational use, sustainment and appropriate acquisition Programs of Record for further development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for validating the hardware, software, and network function together with appropriate performance and security
  • Provides full life-cycle engineering support across numerous customer systems
  • Perform system/software integration of implementing COTS/GOTS products into the customer baseline, providing coding expertise to enhance tools and to allow various software products to work together (interoperate)
  • Experienced in applying software design principles to build, test, and deploy solutions into production environments
  • Performs research/trade studies into the most effect COTS/GOTS available to fulfill customer needs and make recommendations on the toolsets to be used
  • Build, integrate, and test prototypes and final implementations of tools
  • Enhance existing toolsets providing best value for the customer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with three (3+) years of experience; Master's degree is preferred
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (or higher) is required
  • Experience in requirements development, design, implementation, integration and test of systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in Systems Engineering disciplines and the government program acquisition lifecycle, to include requirements definition, creation of requirements verification test matrices, requirements decomposition, requirements traceability, design reviews and documentation, and integration and test
  • Hands on experience participating in system integration and design verification testing

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Basic Compensation:

$52,100.00 - $78,300.00 USD Annual

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
