Job Summary
The Sterile Processing Manager supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality by managing the daily operations of the Sterile Processing department, including the coordination of personnel, resources and equipment and the promotion of teamwork and staff development.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

High School graduate or GED
National Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution (IAHCSMM or CBSPD)
Five years of recent experience in a Sterile Processing department
Knowledge of and experience with the safe and accurate operation of steam autoclaves, Steris System One and STERRAD
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

College level coursework
Certification in Sterile Processing Leadership (CHL, IAHCSMM) or (CSPDM, CBSPD)
Operating Room experience
