POSITION SUMMARY:
 
Upgrade to fill needs or open positions throughout the Aseptic
department as Kitchen Operator, Packaging Machine Operator or Hassia
Technician
 
In alignment with Act 593(B), this position is considered safety
sensitive as this employee is responsible for operating, maintaining and
monitoring machinery.
 




PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Employee will receive daily assignment at
start of shift, responsibilities will vary depending on the upgradeCollaborate with Shift Leader, Supervisor and
other operators to run production, perform cleaning including CIP/SIP,
troubleshoot &problem solve and perform valve service along with other
duties as assignedUpgrade to fill needs or open positions
throughout the Aseptic department as Kitchen Operator, Packaging Machine
Operator or Hassia Technician (see below for details)


 
Position will require moderate to heavy
physical exertion including heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.Employee must support and comply with all Nestlé programs and policies,
including, affirmative action goals and commitments, SHE (Safety, Health
& Environment) strategies, corporate citizenship initiatives, NCE (Nestle
Continuous Excellence), TPM (Total Performance Management), GMP’s (Good
Manufacturing Practices) and Safety Policies to ensure employee safety and
product quality.  Employee must meet
all requirements related to NQMS (Nestle Quality Management System) and ISO
(International Organization for Standardization) standards for Quality, Food
Safety, Environmental Compliance and Occupational Health and Safety


 



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (continued):
 
Aseptic
Kitchen Operator:
Upgrade to kitchen will include operating
equipment including but not limited to: Dry Slurry, Breddo, Batch Kettles,
Pre-Cooks, Urschel Mill, Bertocchi Finisher, Concentrate stations (various
pumps) and CIP system Ability to properly assemble/disassemble
equipment for sanitation and complete CIPs and manual cleaningComplete in-process quality checks and all
documents associated with quality and production record keeping according to
the QMSOrder/return ingredients and inventory
reconciliation in SAP Employee must be able to perform the task of
a forklift operator, scissor lift operator as required




Aseptic Packaging Machine Operator:
Upgrade to packaging will include operating
equipment including but not limited to: Over-capper, Tap-tone, X-Ray, Imaje
printer, Sleever, Case-packer, Markem printer, Palletizer, Wrapper and
Accumulation Tables/Laner Maintain general housekeeping and cleanliness
of equipmentComplete quality checks and all documents
associated with quality and production record keeping according to the QMSOrder/return ingredients and inventory
reconciliation in SAP Employee must be able to perform the task of
a forklift operator, scissor lift operator as required




Hassia Technician:
Upgrade to hassia will include operating
equipment including but not limited to: APS Process Skid, Product Supply
Tank, Surge Tanks, Yokogawa chart recorders, Hassia filler and CIPs systemsAbility to properly assemble/disassemble
equipment for sanitation and complete CIPs and manual cleaning, SIP prior to
productionComplete quality checks and all documents
associated with quality and production record keeping according to the QMSOrder/return ingredients and inventory
reconciliation in SAP Employee must be able to perform the task of
a forklift operator, scissor lift operator as required





 











REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM
EDUCATION LEVEL:
 
Job requires heavy computer or other technical
knowledge to be successful.  Performs
transactions and/or records information in a computer.  High school diploma or GED required as well
as On-The-Job training. Classroom study is recommended to properly educate
operators on Aseptic processes, CIP systems as well as advanced Hassia and
troubleshooting skills.  High
percentage of operating time is spent working with automated processing
systems, quality management systems and SAP. 
Operator will be required to document that he/she is qualified to
perform the functions of a Relief Operator/Utility.
 
 




EXPERIENCE:
 
Required: Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience
 
Preferred: 3 years of food manufacturing experience
