The Donor Management System (DMS) Program Lead will be accountable for the delivery and implementation of the new, third-party DMS software across CSL Plasma and CSLB including donor centers, laboratories, and Plasma Logistic Centers and manufacturing operations. The Program Lead will be responsible for coordinating requirements across all CSL work streams and ensuring that the Digital Technology team has the information and guidance from all areas of Operations required to provide direction to the external vendor.

The Program Lead must have strong project management skills as the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the quarterly Executive Committee held between CSL & the software vendor to ensure the interests of all CSL work streams are represented. In addition, the Program Lead will need to work collaboratively with both CSL and the Vendor to ensure that all timelines and contractual requirements can be achieved.
In addition to the DMS project, the Program Lead will also serve as the Network Strategy Platform owner for Plasma. In this role, the Lead will ensure that key strategies are coordinated between E2E Operations and CSL Plasma. Including, but not limited to collection volumes, geographic expansion, changes in collection or manufacturing technologies, plasma logistics and storage.
Reporting Relationships:
The DMS Program Lead will be an individual contributor reporting into the Head of Network Strategy. As the DMS program has been identified by the GLG as a critical initiative, the Lead will be expected to interface with Executives across both CSL Behring and CSL Plasma. The Program Lead will work closely with the Digital Technology team as well as the CSL Plasma Leadership team.
The Program Lead will have "dotted line" governance of a matrixed team who are partially or fully dedicated to the DMS program. The Lead will be expected to provide direction to team members in support of the program.

The Program Lead will be accountable for the successful and timely implementation of the new DMS as well as ensuring that the DMS is structured to support the long-term strategic goals of CSL Plasma collection and manufacturing operations.
The Lead must develop a sound understanding of the immediate and long-term requirements of the key stakeholders across all work streams (DT, Donor Centers, Logistics, Quality, etc.) and assist in translating these requirements to the CLS DT team as well as the vendor to both meet the near-term implementation timelines as well as ensuring that future enhancements can be added as necessary to support the growth of the business.
The Lead must be have strong communication skills and be able to summarize complex business problems into concise presentations for Executive leaders. In addition, the Lead will need to establish excellent working relationships with external vendors as well as CSL team members to ensure that the program is successful.
Understanding of the Plasma business is critical to the success of the role. As the role will span the full lifecycle of Plasma Collections from donor recruitment through pooling at the manufacturing site. Experience in any/all of these areas would be beneficial to the success of the role; donor center operations, quality, regulatory, supply chain & logistics, information technology.
Candidate will form and chair a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts (operations, regulatory, quality, supply chain, etc.) to support strategic initiatives supporting strategic Plasma projects.
Accompany CSL and Vendor representatives on site visits to Donor Centers and Plasma Logistic Centers to ensure all parties have an understanding of both current capabilities and future needs. Documenting and prioritizing requirements will be critical to the success of the project.
Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the portfolio of strategic projects developed be CSL Plasma and Manufacturing are coordinated and can be implemented in a cohesive manner in support of our patient's needs. This includes ensuring the DMS system can both support new initiatives as well as supplying data to feed the data analytics necessary to optimize our operations.
Establishes program governance and management forums to execute successful project approvals and reviews. Assures effective and timely communication of projects status, issues, key risks, and opportunities.
Manages specific business relationships as required to assure project quality and compliance, effective sourcing, required financial cost management including budget planning, capital forecasting and monitoring of operational expense, resource allocation, etc. Maintains a relationship with the project sponsor throughout the life of the project and attends project steering committees as required.
Manages, coordinates and integrates the work of multiple strategic external/internal partners to achieve program timelines and requirements.


Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university; education in a technical discipline preferred; MBA /advanced degree preferred
10+ years of relevant experience in program/project management using formal project management methodology, techniques & tools
Demonstrated leadership/management experience
Experience within pharmaceutical/biotech/other regulated industry preferred.
Strong preference for experience in the Plasma business.
Demonstrated success managing/delivering global programs/projects
Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage large teams and gain consensus decisions needed to achieve project success.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex problems into succinct presentations for Executive level endorsement.
Ability to organize and summarize large quantities of data and project requirements.
Ability to formulate and communicate strategic initiatives for the business and continue to develop and pursue innovative ideas to maintain CSL's market
Ability to travel up to 15%
