Description Job Description:The EMS Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Network Administrator to work at a contractor location within the Washington DC area. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to help the GSA DIGIT mission.Primary Responsibilities:Designing and implementing computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning. May also design network and computer security measures.Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.Conduct computer network support development and performance evaluation reviews. Identify, develop, and update operational support standards and procedures.Basic Qualifications:Experience in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices.Experience working in an Agile development environment and tempo.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Well versed with using issue/problem tracking systems.Working knowledge of ITIL 4Google Cloud Professional Collaboration Engineer certificationCandidate must have BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field with less than 2 years of experience.Preferred Qualifications:Agile Scrum certification.Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification.Experience in a DevOps environment.Leidos is growing!
