In this role, you will serve as the Program Manager on a mission critical program responsible for delivering large, enterprise application and big data solutions. The Program Manager will provide technical oversite and guidance in the development and maintenance of program solutions including adherence to cost, schedule, and contract requirements. The position will lead a large, diverse technical team and will be responsible for growing and developing teams and leaders across the program. The position requires strong written, verbal, and presentation skills as there will be frequent interaction with senior Government leaders, program leaders, and SAIC executive management. This is a delivery-focused role.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 18 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
Progressively responsible experience delivering on mission critical contracts of at least $20M/ combined annual revenue.
Certified PMP and Agile Scrum Master Certification
Career progression of application development through management through program management of increasingly larger programs
Program Management that demonstrates experience engaging with "C" level suite from CIO's to Senior Government Program Leaders to Corporate Executives
Experience leading broad, diverse projects
Demonstrated experience growing and developing managers and technical leaders
An ability to build superior customer relationships and adeptly balance the needs of the customer with the goals of SAIC.
Situational awareness and the ability to identify the customer's concerns and address those without delay.
Worked in a highly collaborative business development environment working closely with the sales team on pursuit strategies and account prioritization.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to interact effectively with employees and all levels of management in identifying and resolving complex issues.
Experience managing systems/software development teams (consolidated and distributed) through the entire systems/software development lifecycle to include solution concept development, requirements development, system/software architecture definition, solution development, testing, deployment, and operations. This includes developing/maintaining project schedules, managing and mitigating project risks, enabling teams to be successful, crisp decision making to maintain delivery milestones, etc.
Strong knowledge of systems/software development lifecycles, including Agile.
