Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Computer Network Technician to join our team in Manassas, VA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Handle local and wide area networking, communications, and related software/hardware within a multi-platform operating environment.
Must stay current on most technological developments and applications
Evaluate vendor products to make recommendations for purchase
Comfortable using MS Windows Desktop Support (roaming profiles, troubleshooting, peripheral support)
Update Cisco routers and switches, VTC, VOIP
Responsible for PC imaging and termination of network cables (Copper and Fiber)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Computer Science or a related field)
3-5 years of relevant experience
Must possess at minimum a DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification, IAT Level II, such as: Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSC
Windows 10 certification
Ability to travel up to 25%
Experience installing and administering network and systems equipment
Understanding of Active Directory
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Position oneself to move objects from a lower to a higher location or moving objects horizontally from position to-position (computer equipment such as PC, Servers, Routers, Printers and Digital Senders).
Move a cart or dolly using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.
For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
