Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Product Inventory Logistician Specialist to join our team in the Altadena, CA office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Planning, forecasting, product ordering, tracking and monitoring of hardware assets to ensure adequate on hand inventory to meet product demand and SLA’s.
This position requires strong technical knowledge of desktop equipment and the product life cycles.
This person supports the desktop, engineering and procurement teams as well as the customer by providing communication on new and existing products.
The Product/Inventory Specialist is expected to work independently, needing little direct supervision.
Provide complete product data information for item creation in PeopleSoft and creating product catalog entries within the ServiceNow platform for customer ordering.
Assist in the implementation of new products as directed
Actively participate to help product launch and develop PowerPoint slides of product materials to present at customer meetings
Forecast and Monitor inventory levels
Track product orders/shipments and Lead times
Communicate any product constraints or shipping delays to management
Responsible for reviewing and submitting hardware orders
Responsible for ordering new evaluation units from OEM’s for Engineering to test
Research new products where required
Responsible for tracking Product Life cycle management
Create Purchase Requisitions in PeopleSoft and ServiceNow platforms
Knowledge of queue management within ServiceNow
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly manipulating data within MS Excel is essential
Experience working within a Desktop operational environment
Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, printers, peripherals, mobile devices and accessories
Experience with an ITSM tool such as ServiceNow or equivalent required
Experience with PeopleSoft is strongly desired
Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally in verbal and written formats with both internal and external customers.
Ability to consistently follow up and seek a resolution through to completion
Excellent organizational and customer service skills
Ability to operate under constant deadlines and productively handle and prioritize tasks
Ability to be self-motivated and effectively manage multiple products at the same time and understand a sense of urgency
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar field with 1-3 years of working experience in hardware sales, operations or customer service environment.
Previous working experience in sales, operations, administration and customer service.
Experience or working knowledge of the following hardware:
HP, Dell or Apple Desktops and Laptops
Understand how to interpret a Bill of Materials or hardware configurations
Product Life Cycle Management
Experience or working knowledge of the following mobile devices
Apple and Samsung mobile devices, tablets and accessories
Experience with the following platforms:
