DescriptionJob DescriptionInterface with customers and identify their needs in the entire customer engagement cycle (pre-sales, integration, operations). Work in close collaboration with Inpher's product development, business development, and customer success to improve the customer's experience, including: Design and architect tailored solutions for Inpher’s customers Review the security of customer deployments Assist business development with pre-sales engagements Ensure success of customers and relay feedback to product engineering What You Will Do Work closely with Inpher's product engineering and dev-ops to ensure availability of infrastructure and operational capabilities to support a customer Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions, including time and scope involved Assist business development and pre-sales teams in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates in relation to customer experience Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges Guarantee and assess the end-to-end security requirements of proposed solutions and communicate it to customers and the rest of the Inpher team RequirementsWhat You Have Done Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field plus at least 5 years relevant experience Preferred professional security certification (e.g. CISSP) Project development and leadership skill are preferred Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure Up to date understanding of best practices regarding system security measures Experience with software engineering, customer experience, and design architecture Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems Professional work experience in analyzing computer hardware and software Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan Location and TravelDuring COVID, all work is remote.There is currently one opening for this role. Candidates interested in joining our New York office must have authorization to work in the United States. When we return to more normal operations, our office is located at 36 W 25th St, near the Flatiron Building and Madison Square Park. The office is easily accessible by the 6, N, W, F, and M 23rd St stops and PATH trains. It's a 10 minute walk to Penn Station for LIRR and NJT.While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly travel between the US and Switzerland and also for on-site assignments with customers.
