System Engineering Integrator (supporting NASA/JSC in Houston)
The purpose/function of this position is to provide Enterprise and cross-program system integration for development of system engineering products for future NASA Programs, which include Advanced Exploration Systems (AES), Exploration Systems Development (ESD) and programs like Human Lunar Systems (HLS) and Gateway. System engineering integrator tasks include integrating with people and tools within different programs in order to develop system engineering products like system engineer plans, requirements, ground rules and assumptions, traceability reports and other similar reports. The person will work at Johnson Space Center with a large team of System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) personnel across multiple NASA centers in a virtual environment.
A BS degree in engineering or equivalent degree with a minimum of 7 years experience
Experience in system engineering and integration
Experience in developing NASA or NASA-related system engineering documentation
Experience with NASA requirements development/management
Experience with NASA verification process
Experience with AES, ESD, or associated programs
Self-motivated and proactive in integrating/communicating with others without a lot of hands on direction
Ability to work within a team environment, where the team is distributed across multiple NASA centers
Ability to identify integration concerns and gaps in information and communicate concerns to leadership in a diplomatic manner
Ability to perform cross-program integration with multiple people for various purposes in parallel
Ability to learn on the job
Well-developed skills in both written and verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with NASA flight certification processes
