SAIC is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to support our FAA program. The selected candidate will work with a cross-functional team to design and develop training materials and courseware. The courseware may be delivered in a variety of delivery media including web, virtual classroom training, or instructor-led.
Conducts training analysis, designs and develops training curricula, designs and develop multimedia/web storyboards and training, and measures and evaluates effectiveness of training.
Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives.
Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Systems Design or a related discipline or have an advanced training certificate from a recognized training organization or an accredited college or university along with 3+ years or more of leading a team specializing in distance learning development.
Three (3) years or more of distance learning experience to include the application of Instructional Systems Design, execution of job task analyses, design and development of training curricula, course materials, assessments, training evaluation systems and instruments.
Possess expert analytical, communication, and research skills, and a successful record of accomplishment of creating engaging course materials and assessments for both classroom and online instruction.
Possess expert proficiency using the ADDIE model and Kirkpatrick's approach to learning and training evaluation.
Possess expert proficiency applying Bloom's Taxonomy to all aspects of the design phase.
Possess intermediate or above proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
Possess intermediate or above proficiency with Articulate Storyline, Blackboard Learning Management System and Web conferencing products.
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
