Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administrator to provide unparalleled support for the Information Systems Division (TC) within the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Sterling, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Installing, relocating, configuring, modifying, and testing routers, hubs, switches, wireless access points and associated controllers, and terminal servers. 
  • Measuring network performance and connectivity. 
  • Maintaining and managing Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs). 
  • Configuring and maintaining software defined networks.
  • Configuring CISCO NXOS/IOS at both switch and router
  • Applying Cybersecurity Checklist to switch and router
  • Configuring VLANs on switch for management, modeling and simulation networks
  • Ensuring SSH is configured to allow individual access to the component
  • Disabling of non-used ports
  • Configuring Network (Switch / Router) to function in a virtualized environment with VMware vSphere and vCenter
  • Configuring network for multicast/unicast routing/switching. 
  • Operating and maintaining Network Management Systems (NMS). 
  • Operating and maintaining Network Operating Systems (NOS). 
  • Operating and maintaining security firewalls/Virtual Private Network (VPN) devices. 
  • Maintaining documentation necessary for operations in support of LAN to WAN connectivity. 
  • Contributing to the network administration body of knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 to 6 years of related experience
  • BS/BA degree OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree  
  • IAT Level II Certification

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance 

Physical Requirements:

  • Stationary work at an office desk setting 50% of time
  • Traversing to accomplish tasks by moving from one work site to another or between different floors in a building•    Ability to perceive and assess employee productivity
  • Communicating with others to exchange information
