Electrical Engineer - Military veterans preferred

Amentum is immediately hiring a Electrical Engineer at it's Watervliet, NY Arsenal Site location.




One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes:

Perform design and engineering work on projects involving construction, alteration, renovation, addition and/or rehabilitation of existing or new facilities.
Determine contract requirements and/or interpret contract specifications, clauses and/or documents.
Communicate with others to clarify problems and recommend solutions on engineering plans, specifications, and/or schedules.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.




Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:




Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
