Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Counterintelligence Basic Analyst to join our team in the Dahlgren, VA to support our Missile Defense Agency customer.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct daily research and analysis of intelligence community databases for information pertinent to the MDA and the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) deployment activities worldwide
  • Provide analysis support to the Counterintelligence (CI) covering agent in order to inform the CI OCONUS Travel briefing program and to support CI briefings to the supported program
  • Receive analytical product requests from the CI covering agent
  • Conduct IC database checks on MDA operating location and in support of specific program technologies to determine if there are any terrorism, CI, or Foreign Intelligence Entity threats or concerns
  • Write threat assessments, and analytical reports, update/disseminate for situational awareness as required, and provide current/emerging trends reported through the IC, local CI, and LE entities at all locations the Ballistic Missile Defense System is deployed
  • Conduct foreign name vetting

Basic Qualifications:

  • Be a graduate of a DoD or DIA All-Source Intelligence Analyst training course
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to conduct intelligence community research and prepare analysis reports utilizing analyst tradecraft and suitable for publication
  • Capable of performing and implementing IAW ICD 203 (Analytic Standards), ICD 205 (Analytic Outreach), ICD 206 (Sourcing Requirements for Disseminated Analytic Products) and ICD 501 (Discovery and Dissemination or Retrieval of Information within the Intelligence Community)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • BA/BS required in related field with 1 year of relevant experience or 4 years of relevant specialized experience and or military related experience without a degree
  • Must be open non-local (including international) travel from the primary work location (throughout the MDA enterprise)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience writing Intelligence products at the strategic level is preferred

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: TOP SECRET/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
