LCV Northcom: Sr. Accountant
Responsible for accounting policies and procedures involving the maintenance of a precise general ledger, analysis of balance sheet accounts, and payroll. Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices. Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members.
·Role will be involved with the weekly/monthly close cycle including, analysis and journal entries, prior experience in the close cycle not required
·Familiarity with DelTek CostPoint a plus
·Experience building managerial or financial reports preferred
·Proficient in Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Access, Sharepoint
·Excellent oral and written communication skills
·Proven ability to handle multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
·Demonstrated ability to lead a team
·Experience with Governmental DCAA Compliance a plus
·Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Experience and Education:
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate
degree and 5+ years of experience.
