KBR are offering Digital Engineering Cadetships to support the growth of our own Centre of Excellence from the ground up. These Cadetships will allow current and future TAFE and Master Engineering Students the opportunity to continue their studies while obtaining valuable on the job experience working within KBR’s engineering teams, assisting with delivery of major projects within Victoria and Australia.

You will be provided with on the job training and learning opportunities which may include the skill areas / experience listed below – Whilst having the support and mentorship from some of the best in the industry and a team that wants to see you succeed!

  • Digital Engineering Project Delivery
  • Virtual Design & Construction (VDC)
  • Construction Planning
  • Digital Twin Technology
  • Optioneering
  • GIS
  • Virtual Reality /Augmented Reality
  • Parametric programming/scripting and modelling (Generative Components/Dynamo/Rhyno/Grasshopper/Python)
  • Digital Data Survey Capture
  • Drone Technology
  • IoT Device Monitoring

About you

This is an Entry Level Opportunity and the Ideal candidate will be currently Studying Engineering at TAFE or a Diploma/Certificate in Engineering, as well as being able to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week (2 days) for your paid work experience and training.

Aside from these two criteria if you are an out of the box thinker who enjoys brandishing out there ideas and seeing if they will work, challenging the status quo and working on and supporting some of Victoria’s key infrastructure projects, then KBR is just the place for you.
