Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Government Property Administrator to join our team in Hanover, MD.

The Government Property Administrator provides logistics and export control support to Government personnel by assisting with the management processes related to the acquisition and shipping of equipment to the Customer’s worldwide Partners. Works individually or as part of a team. Coordinates and performs property accountability functions. Develops material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property. Performs logistics management and control activities. Provides expert level export and control guidance to relevant external customers and offices in the acquisition of systems classified at the S//SI or higher level

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate, perform, and support ManTech’s Integrated Logistics Support processes, programs, and controls.
  • Receive, store, document, and transfer materials/equipment essential to the program.
  • Provide logistics and export control support as necessary to Government personnel.
  • Assist with management processes related to the acquisition and shipping of equipment to worldwide Partners.
  • Work individually or as part of a team.
  • Develop material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property.
  • Perform logistics management activities specifically as they relate to the program.
  • Provide expert level export and control guidance to relevant external customers and offices in the acquisition of systems classified at the S//SI or higher level.
  • Maintain and update property accountability and logistics documents as necessary.
  • Organize and manage processes essential to integrated logistics support for the program.
  • Serve as team lead and manager at the level appropriate to support all facets of the program.
  • Identify issues and work to resolve using available resources and best practices.
  • Modify and streamline existing logistics practices and processes should they need updating or modification.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of general program/business management experience of which five (5) years should be related to foreign partner efforts. Expertise in International Traffic and Arms (ITAR) Regulations and policies is not required but would be helpful.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, program management or related discipline and 5 years of demonstrated specialized financial, program, contract, or business management experience.   In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 10 years of demonstrated specialized experience may be substituted. A Master's Degree in the fields described above may be substituted for three years of demonstrated experience. A professional certification such as DAWIA Level II in any field, or PMI’s PMP certification is desirable.
  • Generalized experience includes management of the budget, schedule, and performance on government contracts.
  • Professional experience shall include ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, material handling, and property accountability.
  • Specialized experience on large government or industry technical contracts involving multiple activities and multiple vendors is desired.
  • Must be willing to travel OCONUS up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an Intelligence Community environment is desirable

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Working With Data.
  • Move about freely in a laboratory setting.
  • Repetitive Motions.
