The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer with infrastructure project experience (road, rail, civil) within a design or construction environment to join our civil engineering team in Victoria.

You will have a strong understanding of client needs strive to achieve a high level of client satisfaction. At this level, you will assist the Sales Leader to develop business opportunities, as well as providing support to bid teams and project staff.

You will also be responsible for supervision of project staff and review deliverables to ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards.

We place a strong emphasis on collaboration, both within our local office and KBR nationally, and as such you will likely work with interstate colleagues on exciting engineering projects.

You will work with a diverse team of highly regarded people who are committed to ensuring we remain a key partner to our clients, not to mention a key contributor to delivering projects.

The Senior Civil Enigneer will have the following qualifications and experience

  • Hold an accredited bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural)
  • Demonstrate at least 7 years recent local experience working with consultants, contractors, and government agencies in designing or delivering infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of the local market and industry knowledge
  • Strong technical design ability specifically transport infrastructure design and in using civil design modelling software packages, preferably 12D.
  • You will be a Chartered Member (CPEng) of Engineers Australia, or have ability to obtain within 6 months.
