Data Analyst

Seeking a Data Analyst to support the NASA SEWP program office in Greenbelt, MD.


  • Understand business requirements to analyze and track data
  • Collect, evaluate, and interpret data
  • Identify and document data anomalies and patterns
  • Perform data cleansing and modifications
  • Communicate and collaborate findings with team members
  • Work closely with management regarding data requirements
  • Perform defined processes and implement corrective actions
  • Assist with writing documentation for processes and procedures
  • Report progress and identify deficiencies


  • Ability to understand SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Toad database developer tool experience a plus
  • Attention to detail and strong organization
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Provide after hour support when needed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet searches, and ability to learn internal and external tools
  • Must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of business experience
  • 2+ years of SQL experience
  • Help desk support a plus
  • NASA experience is a plus
