Paralegal Studies Adjunct Instructor - Military veterans preferred

Columbus Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as a part-time instructor for Paralegal Studies. Under general supervision, this individual will prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction; evaluate students' progress in attaining goals, objectives, and student learning outcomes. This position requires day, evening, and/or on line instruction. This position is part-time/exempt.

Please note the following information regarding this position:
a) May be required to teach high school students
b) May require teaching on or off campus throughout our service delivery area (Muscogee County, Stewart County, Quitman County, Chattahoochee County, Harris County, and Talbot County)
c) May require travel

Responsibilities:
Attend staff development training, workshops, or seminars when needed
Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area
Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
Ensures consistency in syllabi, lesson plans, test, and other appropriate course work

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline (i.e. Political Science, Public Administration) *and* 3-5 years' work experience as a Paralegal

Preferred Qualifications
A Master's degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline (i.e. Political Science, Public Administration) with 3-5 years' experience working as a Paralegal
-OR-
Juris Doctorate and 3-5 years' experience working as a Paralegal
One or more years of experience with instruction in a postsecondary setting
