Company and Position Summary A global leader in the industrial thermoplastic & rubber markets has an exciting opening for a Regional Industrial Sales Representative. We seek a demonstrated sales and business development talent with a strong and proven track record of increasing sales. This client is a nationally known manufacturer and distributor of high-quality industrial products, including a complete line of thermoplastic, rubber, metal hose, and accessory items like couplings and fittings. They serve markets including but not limited to Agriculture, Chemical, Construction, Manufacturing, Mining, O&G, and Transportation. The territory presently has 100+ existing customers and nearly $4M in sales. The expectation is that the regional sales representative will actively cold call and research to acquire new customers.Education and Experience Requirements -        Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four (4) year College or university; and or one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience-         Three (3) plus years of relevant demonstrated outside sales/business development experience-         Proven track record of building business and relationships-         Excellent verbal and written communication skills-         Must have actual outside sales experience that includes calling on distributors and end-users.Responsibilities -         Provide sales calls on existing and prospective new customers that have potential for purchases of products through an extensive warehouse network-         Develop new distribution for products where applicable using relevant data to target key accounts in strategic markets-         Plan and schedule customer calls that maximize efficient interactions.-         Prepare and execute an annual territory budget for sales.-         Assist the Product Managers as well as the entire management team with strategic planning by providing market data.-         Work jointly with distributors and Product Managers to increase sales volume at the end-user and distributor level.-         Assist distributors and Product Managers to specify products to match applications and make other technical recommendations.-         Develop an understanding of product line, distribution marketing/sales, competitors, and potential customer profile.-         Demonstrate a positive outlook on the future growth of product line within current structure and available resources.
