Client: Our client is a 150-year-old, high-growth, extremely profitable, highly innovative, $7 Billion Manufacturer with a globally recognized brand ranked a Top 25 Privately-Owned business in the US Fortune & Forbes with 30,000+ employees operating out of 55 locations on 6 continents.Position: Quality Engineer Reports to:                  Plant Quality Manufacturing ManagerPosition Purpose: Responsible for fulfilling the role of Quality expert; this is a hands-on position. Ensure the quality of the parts produced to meet customer expectations; quickly and effectively take action when non-conformances are found. Maintain the most recent interpretations of the quality system requirements and therefore ensure that documented practices meet the true interpretation of the quality management system standards.What is a day to day like for someone in this role?Work with the floor associates and management solving problems, leading teams to improve first-pass yield, implementing error-proofing projects, assisting with work instructions, containing material/finished goods to protect the customer.What are your top three non-negotiables?Engineering or manufacturing Co-op experience in an industrial products businessExperience leading projects to improve business metricsIndividual must be a self-starter, not afraid to talk to all levels of the organization, with a high sense of urgencyWhat would you consider to be the challenges of this position?
