The Industrial Designer will be a major part of the development of new products from early concept through manufacturing at scale. The individual must have the ability and passion for combining art and engineering to make sleek, more helpful, beautiful, and functional products that our users require for their daily life, while taking in consideration the user experience, style, and function. Duties and Responsibilities Working with key stakeholders, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality product development.Conduct thorough and continual research about products and other ways of understanding the problems.Sketch ideas on paper and renderings on the computer to be able to communicate to all key stake holders.Utilize computer 3D CAD to create models and assemblies. Create prototypes and functional models.Determine, evaluate and report on manufacturing requirements including but not limited to production, research, supply chain and time.Understand and follow standards and regulations in the design process. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time. Knowledge and Skills Needed Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of relevant product design experience preferred. Proficiency using CAD.Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams and as an individual contributor.
