The candidate for this position will be responsible for monitoring the operations of our systems, including quality and compliance. The candidate should also be able to recommend improvements to the process through the tracking of metrics and reporting of data. The candidate should definitely have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role. ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support as necessaryEstablish process metrics and goalsDevelop and issue process designsQualificationsEducation and Experience:B.S. degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited University.Experience using CAD systems (preferably AutoCAD), spreadsheets, word documents and email programs.(Microsoft Office)Vocational/Technical School/work experience related to machine shop practices.Mechanical aptitude and strong analytical capabilities.Familiar with Process/Design FMEA’s, control plans and (AQP) Advanced Quality Planning.Possess a basic understanding of machine control systems such as safety devices, PLC’s, HMI’s, compressed air logic and hydraulics.Minimum five years prior ‘hands-on’ experience in a manufacturing plant as an engineer.Familiar with TS 16949 & ISO 14001 Quality & Environmental SystemsMust possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
