Logistics Account Rep - Military veterans preferred

Everest Search Partners is seeking a Logistics Account Representative to support client relationships for a global logistics provider. Position Summary: The Logistics Account Rep coordinates efforts to provide a positive and proactive experience to all customers. Responsibilities include resolution of issues with Order Entry, Shipping, Product Availability, Returns, Order Management and others by communicating directly with clients via phone and email.  Responsibilities: Create and manage list of accounts.Communicate with Customers and internal departments regarding inventories, reporting, invoicing, forecasting, returns, contracts etc.Identify issues and communicate to managementProvide updates of carriers and pickups as neededWork with inventory control for any cycle count in result of shortage or chargebacksSet up new customers in Warehouse Management SystemEnsure orders are tracking through Warehouse management system without issueUnderstand and enforce service level agreementsQualifications: 1-3 years’ experience with Account Management, Supply Chain, Logistical or Distribution environmentsStrong communication skills both in spoken and written formExcel and other MS Office productsWarehouse Management System experience (PkMS is a plus)
