At Graystone Quarry Music and Events, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on! The Role:We are seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager for the Graystone Quarry venue including FirstBank Amphitheater.  FirstBank Amphitheater is a new boutique amphitheater South of Nashville, TN  located in a reclaimed rock quarry with seats for 7500 fans. Teaming up with Live Nation to book the best live performance and touring groups around the world we will be working hard to deliver fans an amazing concert experience. This position is part of the core management team and will be a blend experienced management thinking with hands-on analysis and accounting. This person must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task.  Responsibilities:Interact with General Manager and team to address any accounting matters at the venueMaintain and record routine accounting transactions for ticketing, food and beverage and any other venue operations or event promotion expenseResponsible for ensuring accurate and timely settlementsInvolvement in venue meetings during the review of venue forecasts, budgets and variances to actual resultsAnalyze areas of expense reduction and revenue enhancementResponsible for the consolidation and review in all month-end reporting and statementsReview all reconciliations for bank accounts, general ledger accounts, various sub-ledgers, etc.Process accounts payable invoices, manual checks and wiresProvide audit support as neededWork with Tax accountant for financial reports and filings Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferredFour to five of comparable experience – experience with Venue finance/accounting preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detailPossess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of internal controls. Must be able to maintain proper internal controls and enhance efficiency when possibleProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to integrate internal applications to increase team efficiencies Our Benefits:Competitive compensationAdditional benefits
