Additionally, the pricing manager is expected to conduct first level review of pricing, lead process improvement activities, and ensure that open and constructive lines of communication exist between Pricing and other departments.Education:Accounting or Finance degree requiredExperience:Minimum of five (5) years of costing or other financial analysis experienceExperience in a healthcare or staffing setting preferredExperience in a correctional healthcare environment highly desirableResponsibilities:Has responsibility for preparing estimates of cost elements and proposed pricing for contract proposals, contract amendments, contract renewals, and new business ventures.Responsible for adherence to cost/pricing standards across all business lines.Review of cost analyses prepared by pricing analystsPresentation of analysis results and strategyPrepare “look-back” analyses and apply learnings to enhance analytics and pricing process on a go-forward basis.Determines variable and fixed cost components and adjusts for related volume variances as necessary.Must be able to coordinate pricing activity with interdepartmental resources.Maintains peer group cost databases, updating same as necessary in accordance with costs as reflected on the Company-wide General ledger.Performs ad hoc pricing projects and analyses, as requested.Must be a critical thinker, with a high level of intellectual curiosity, who actively challenges the status quoMust be a self-starter and have strong project management skills.Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.Above-average interpersonal and written communication skills. Able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.Ability to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.Desire and ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Wellpath is an EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability Employer
