Donovan & Watkins has partnered with a fantastic firm in Nashville, TN seeking a driven and strategic Controller to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, managing and directing a team of 30 to include all corporate accounting such as general accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivables and credit collection functions of the company. Other ResponsibilitiesManaging month-end closings and internal / external management financial reports for multiple business sectors. Actively involved in communication of financial results to senior management and corporate staffs.Work with CFO to provide timely work to facilitate company financial needs, including asset dispositions, restructuring activities, complex financial arrangements with customers, special projects.RequirementsCPA certification preferred, Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. In-depth (8+ years preference) or 3-4 years public accounting experience.Proven supervisory and leadership experience with exceptional communication skills.
