If this sounds exciting, we would love to talk with you.NOTE: This position is based in Nashville, Tennessee and is not a remote positionThe Senior Financial Analyst applies analytical thought processes, business judgment, project management, and reporting expertise to translate financial and clinical data into impactful financial analyses, recommendations, and helps guide the decisions of the organization. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst will develop and ensure the accuracy of financial models that support operational and strategic decision making for multiple businesses. The analyst should possess an analytical mind, have high standards for quality of work, and prioritize appropriately given changing conditions. The ideal candidate should want to make a substantial impact on decision-making, to learn quickly in a dynamic, high-growth healthcare technology company. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Duties:Design, develop, and utilize sophisticated financial models for short-term and long-term planning (specifically using Microsoft Excel). Closely monitor and report on financial and clinical metrics and business drivers.Develop financial and operational presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders.Responsible for maintaining and assembling large data set utilizing data mining skills, analyzing operational performance, identifying problems, developing recommendations which support planning and operations and presenting these recommendations to senior management.Evaluate and conduct opportunity analysis for new business.Actively collaborate with other financial team members and business leaders to assess needs and proactively leverage subject matter expertise to improve financial performance and decision making.Communicate effectively with various disciplines fostering positive, open communications and teamwork.Actively participate, or take leadership role, in carrying out special projects.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business• 3-5 + years of experience in Financial Analyst rolePreferred Qualifications:• CPA or CFA designation• Master’s Degree• Healthcare industry experience• SQL experience• Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills• Experience with Power Query• Experience with Dashboards (Power BI, Tableau)• Experience and strengths in financial modeling and analysisSkills and Abilities:• Strong analytical skills • Strong oral and written communication skills• Professional presence • Time management • Self-motivation• Critical thinking• CreativityWork Environment:This position operates in a professional office environment.
