Senior Financial Analyst (33704) Our client is a global manufacturing company conveniently located northwest of downtown Milwaukee that is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This position will be involved in many cross departmental and strategic initiatives! With a large and growing accounting and finance team, there is significant opportunity for advancement within the organization. The company boasts a team-oriented culture, long tenured employees, and strong benefits. They pride themselves on providing their employees with the tools and training necessary to succeed. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for a mix of financial reporting and other analytical projects and provide that information to business leaders. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:  RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.Evaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.Prepare and/or review accurate and properly supported journal entries.Complete general ledger close and reporting activities, analyze results and recommend opportunities for improvement.Preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.Monitor internal control policies and procedures and assist in fulfilling Sarbanes/Oxley requirements.The Senior Financial Analyst will perform ad-hoc reporting and analyses as needed.Other duties as requested.  The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following: EXPERIENCE REQUIRED The Senior Financial Analyst will have 3+ years’ relevant experience; public accounting experience preferred. Manufacturing industry experience required.Strong analysis and problem solving skills with a comprehensive understanding of GAAP and experience in cost accounting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial reporting systems.The Senior Financial Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
