As the Senior Technician, Process Engineer you will be responsible for contributing to a variety of functions related to the development of new manufacturing processes including, batching, labeling, sample filling, stability testing, and performance testing to meet the expanding organizational and market needs of our growing business

You will be a versatile generalist with solid technical and practical experience and has a deep proficiency in a range of processes/procedures

You will have the opportunity to train others, carry-out experiments without supervision, and complete project assignments being delegated by others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting process scale-up experiments  

Assist in determining the approach/recommendations for new experiments or manufacturing processes based upon results gathered during experimentation 

Maintain accurate, clear, concise, and timely records of all relevant work activities, including independently preparing summary documents and reports 

Set-up and carry-out assigned experimental procedures independently 

Understand the concepts of experimental design 

Carry-out routine maintenance on equipment and instruments as well as troubleshoot malfunctions 

Execute project tasks to meet commitments 

Employ basic statistical analysis 

Conduct experiments using GLP standard operating procedures 

Reproducibly prepare samples according to specifications 

Follow established safety procedures, practices, and guidelines; organize laboratory work space to maintain safe working conditions 

Provide measurements, analysis, reports, and assist in making recommendations to solve manufacturing problems 

Support new manufacturing processes as technologies advance  

Act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience 

May assist in formal training or orientation 

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Associate degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry or other related science or a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of relevant processing technician experience  

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 

Proven track record of meeting deadlines 

Ability to operate standard laboratory equipment 

Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively 

Excellent oral and written communication skills 

Able to complete a variety of atypical assignments and flexible to accommodate making significant changes to assigned work routine or schedule
