Aerospace Engineering – Issues Remediation

The role

To resolve the identified Engineering Support problems within the Airworthiness Board submissions, a Defence Aviation Engineering Support Remediation Program has been established. The role is to:

  • Conduct an initial investigation of the engineering support issues and themes identified in collaboration with Air Command and Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA), to identify and address root causes and consequently remediate extent issues
  • Complete a report on the proposed actions identified to remediate systemic and platform specific Engineering Support problems (‘Quick wins’ identified can be pursued early)
  • Deliver a final report based on the findings from the initial investigation in collaboration with Air Command and DASA.
  • The final report will subsequently inform a targeted remediation effort for systemic and platform-specific Engineering Support issues.

Skills Required

  • Tertiary qualified Engineers (or equivalent) – Essential
  • Demonstrated expertise in Technical Writing
  • Administrative and business support capabilities for Stakeholder engagement, management and change management to enable successful delivery.

The successful applicant will require be required to hold an AGSVA NV1 clearance.
