Job Title: Account Manager - Navy
Job Location: San Diego, CA, preferred location
Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
Trace Systems is actively recruiting for an Account Manager to support our Navy Customer and Corporate Headquarters. The preferred location is San Diego, CA.
This essential role will be responsible for handling Navy client accounts with a heavy emphasis on tactical networks (PMW 160) and enterprise networks (PMW 205). Foster the relationship between Trace and interface and coordinate projects, accounts, and business opportunities relative to the client. The Account Manager will liaise frequently with the clientele to assure them of their importance which helps to expand on the customer relationship and business. This Account Manager must have in-depth understanding of the customer's budget, funding, and procurement processes, in addition to familiarity with the acquisition lifecycle of ACAT I MAIS programs of record. As an Account Manager, you may have a number of client accounts and must be able to manage them effectively and prioritize the various customer projects. The Account Manager has the responsibility to inform the customer of any developments or changes to their project.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Increase the company's product revenue
Develop product pipeline
Respond to client communications or queries and resolve any client issues
Network with business partners and or distributors
Sales forecasting and analyze sales data
Utilize, review and update CRM database
Coordinate with corporate teams/assets for support to customers
Provide strategies and estimates for the company
Provide quality control oversight
Position requires a minimum of eight (8) years of experience with DoD acquisition commands, processes, and directives
Must have eight (8)+ years of experience with IT and Command and Control (C2) capabilities development
Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required
Ability to communicate and network efficiently and effectively
Be detail oriented, able to manage and time and multiple client accounts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM Software
Experience in Coalition/Multi-national information sharing requirements desired
Experience with Combatant Command or Service Component Command staff organization and requirements processes desired
Bachelors degree in EE, CIS, or other technical area, or 15 years of equivalent experience or training can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
