Contract Program Manager

Seeking Contract Manager to manage all aspects of major prime contract for the US Navy. This is a senior management position that will require a hands on approach. Contract is for shipboard support as well as land base support CONUS and OCONUS. Contract personnel to report into this position and will be direct reports. Must have demonstrated ability, background, and qualifications to lead and manage staff support services, which includes 40+ direct report personnel and subcontract partners in the areas of IT and logistical support. Providing oversight of large, multi-functional project teams, preferably in an information technology environment, and planning and managing complex tasks sometimes under tight budget and time constraints across multiple regions domestic and overseas.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration or Business Management, based on a four-year course of study from a U.S. or U.K. accredited college or university or equivalent institution. Equivalent work or military experience may be substituted for the degree.

Experience:
5-10 years of experience performing US Federal Government contract administration.

Required Skills/Training:
- Excellent technical and functional knowledge of Federal Government contract administration.
- Well-developed negotiation skills.
- Experience interfacing with Contracting Officers and CORs
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated initiative with results in challenging, dynamic environments.
- Willing to travel up to 50% both CONUS and OCONUS.
- Government acquisition; familiarity with industry best practices; and Government contract and subcontract management.
- Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS


This essential role has full authority to act on all contract matters.
Naval veteran and previous contracting experience working with the US Navy is preferred.

Citizenship: Must be US citizen.

Location: U.S. Based, working remotely with periodic travel to Pennsylvania HQ.

Clearance: an active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance preferred or must be eligible to obtain clearance.
