Test Engineer

KBR is looking for a Senior Test engineer to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting the readiness and sustainment of fighter aircraft systems. This is a full-time position located in the KBR Warner Robins, GA office.

The candidate designs and develops complex test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services. Designs and builds test stations. Gathers test data and evaluates the results of tests to determine if the product meets specifications and performance requirements. Assess product integrity and reliability. Debugs complex test hardware and software. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to products.

Collaborates with colleagues, contractors and customers to improve products. Provides leadership to less experienced engineers.


Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical , Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited University with seven (7) years of relevant experience

Master’s Degree in Mechanical , Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited University with three (3) years of relevant experience

Minimum five (5) years of experience performing environmental and EMI/EMC testing

Knowledge of MIL-STD Test EMI/EMC and Environmental Requirements

The more successful candidate will possess the following preferred experience, knowledge and skills:

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience testing airborne electronic systems including supporting and participation in flight-tests

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in reliability, evaluation, and testing

Aircraft mechanical or electrical systems experience

Avionics/Electronic systems experience

PSPICE experience

Drafting capabilities within SolidWorks or AutoCAD

Developing and executing Test Plans

Developing and managing large MS Excel Spreadsheets

Coordinating with other technical personnel in solving technical problems, gathering information, cost estimates and specifications

Compiling and preparing comprehensive technical reports

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
