Test Engineer EMI/EMC

  • KBR is seeking a Test Engineer EMI/EMC to support the AIMS Program Office team in Warner Robins, GA
  • Perform reliability research and analysis of basic engineering standards and certification requirements
  • Work with government and contractor team members with assistance in effectively using reliability software to document analysis
  • Provide professional services to military, manufacturers and commercial customers
  • Witness, Test and Certify military box and platform IFF systems (Transponders and Interrogators)--- Ground, Air and Ship
  • Create technical standards approved by U.S. government, NSA, FAA, and NATO
  • Assist with creating or updating test requirement documents for box/platform systems for testing transponders and interrogators
  • Work directly with U.S. government and NATO officials
  • Conducts CONUS and OCONUS travel for testing and classified/unclassified meetings
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and customers
  • Analyze and coordinate technical data within established procedures and schedules in support of the AIMS Program Office
  • The selected candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to oversee the collection, sorting and analysis of various qualitative and quantitative data


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Working knowledge of EMI/EMC testing experience required
  • Works under general supervision or ability to work without supervision; typically reports to the On-Site Program Manager
  • Active Secret clearance required
