Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Training Content Developer & Instructor to join our team in the Chambersburg, PA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Candidate will have experience with:
    • Multiple DoD STIG technologies (e.g., operating systems, applications, networking)
    • Classroom training instruction and curriculum development
    • Maintaining a technical, hands-on lab environment

  • Candidate will:
    • Create classroom training course content to include PowerPoint presentations, lab-based exercises, and quizzes and tests to ensure information retention
    • Create and maintain all virtual machines and tools used in the technical, hands-on lab environment
    • Update course content based on customer direction and/or relevant student feedback
    • Closely track contract deliverables, ensuring assigned items are delivered in a timely manner
    • Keep skills up-to-date in order to contribute to course updates and development of hands-on exercises for the students
    • Develop customized courses as required
    • Assist in the migration of classroom training to an eLearning environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strong understanding of application security principles
  • Understanding of application development lifecycles
  • Knowledge of DoD Networks and Application Security and Development STIGs
  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and DoD RMF
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity policy and guidance
  • Tools utilized during assessments (e.g., SCC, STIG Viewer)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting compliance reviews/audits
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to teach in a highly interactive and engaging style
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex technical content and present it simply and clearly
  • Tailor course delivery to meet student needs
  • Ensure course learning objectives are met
  • Professional teaching experience to audiences up to 17
  • Knowledge of Adversarial Tactics and Techniques (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain)
  • Knowledge of Secure Coding Practices

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Department of Defense Secret

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • ?Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
